District 3 Meeting Minutes for January 15th, 2018

ROLL CALL: Ray Bradshaw called meeting to order.

CLUBS PRESENT: All members present except Lancaster County Hawg Hunters.

SECRETARY’S REPORT: Doug Lamborn reviewed minutes from December meeting and all members approved.

TREASURERS REPORT: Ray gave report of District 3 checking account balance. Contact Ray for financial information.

CONSERVATION REPORT: No report

PUBLIC RELATIONS/MEMBERSHIP: Ray asked that all meeting minutes be posted on to Pa Bass web site each month in effort to keep all D3 members updated.

TOURNAMENTS: Mike Sabbi was nominated to be the 2018 tournament director. All members voted for approval. Ray and Mike discussed ways to better inform members in advance on rules which may apply for each tournament.
Ray reviewed those D3 anglers would qualified for the Pa State Championship.

NEW BUSINESS: Ray thanked all members would took part in the SFT Open House on Jan 12th and 13th. We had nineteen (19) members volunteer for this two day show. Next SFT show is March 15th-17th and volunteers are needed.

OLD BUSINESS: Barry Potteiger discussed final plans for the Reel Kids event at Pa Outdoor Show on Feb 3rd, 4th, 10th and 11th. Barry working on sponsors and the approx. 120 volunteers needed for the four day event. Contact Barry at 717-497-1959 to sign up as volunteer.

YOUTH: Ray advised we are looking for a new Youth Director for 2018.

Hello all Anglers and CO- Anglers My name is Sonny Weakland back for another Fun season.

Here are the tentative dates for our tournaments:

  •            Sunday August 12 2018 Raystown  Atich Launch
  •            Sunday September 23 2018 Yough Spillway launch
