Roland Martin Helps At Reel Kids Casting Competition

Roland Martin Helping Kids

On Saturday July 9th & Sunday July 10th the Leggett’s Creek Bassmasters held their Reel Kids Casting Competition at Hunters Gallery in Hamlin PA.

With the help of the Roland Martin & club members 92 boys & girls had the chance to learn how to pitch, flip & cast as well as go home with a goodie bag for future fishing trips.

The winner in the Under 7 age group was 6 year old Avery McHugh from Jefferson TWP with a score of 80 points, in the 7-11 age group was Luka Valic from Newfoundland with 90 points, & in the 12-15 age group with 100 points was Matt Black from Lake Ariel.

The youngest competitor was 3 year old Leah Langar from Jefferson TWP.

2022 Team Regional One

Today starts the official practice for the 2022 Team Regional One on Lake Oneida, NY. Official practice will end at 5:00pm Thursday with the tournament starting Friday, July 15; anticipated launch at 5:00am
