District 6 Tournament Postponed

Given the NOAA forecast of high winds and waves for Sunday April 7th, coupled with low water temperatures (38-40 degrees F), the Officers of District 6 have decided to postpone our scheduled tournament of this weekend (Sunday April 7th at Presque Isle Bay).

Our primary concern is the safety of all participants. We wanted to make this announcement early as possible since so many fisherman will be traveling or pre-fishing and hopefully you can rearrange your plans. We also conferred with numerous other fishermen in the District before making this decision.

Fortunately we have a backup plan in place and we have already obtained a permit for the alternate date of Sunday July 21, 2013 at Presque Isle Bay.

We will apply your application and entry fee to this new tournament and date or we will gladly refund your entry fee. Please let me know which option you prefer.

My apologies for the inconvenience. I know everyone was really looking forward to getting out fishing this weekend.

Regards,

Eric
