SCHEDULE FOR OUR WISH EVENT

Again this year a very special event will be held on Raystown Lake.  PLEASE bring your boat for 1, 2 or all 3 days and take a kid and their families fishing.  These children are facing life threatening illnesses.  These few days bring a lot of joy to the children and their families.  Come on out, fish for smallies out of season (with the blessing of the PA Fish and Boat Commission) and watch sheer joy spread across a kids face as they pull in a big one.  You don’t even need a license (if you haven’t bought one yet).  You need a license but the families do not.

Rough schedule:

  • May 1st meet families at the motel (families and Our Wish members only)
  • May 2nd meet at Aitch boat launch Raystown Lake take kids fishing, lunch and diner
  • May 3rd meet at launch take kids fishing eat lunch depart

MR. BASS KICKOFF POTOMAC RIVER

Mr. Bass Kickoff will be April 17th and 18th at Smallwood state park on the Potomac River. I apologize for the lack of information but have had some setbacks in securing the venue for the meeting. As of right now the Mandatory meeting will be at 6:00pm at Smallwood State park in Pavilion #2 which is located in the Main parking lot of the boat parking.  We will keep this meeting brief. I am still accepting application up until Tuesday the 14th.  Launch will be Safe light to 3:00pm on both days. Please make sure that at the meeting you come with your Ranger Bucks cards and $20.00 to cover both day lunker pot.  I will post later tonight with a list of applications already received. Please reach out and call me if your interested in fishing but haven’t submitted your app.  If you can’t attend the meeting then you must have a representative there on your behalf with your cell phone number.  Contact me at Bruce Bramer 215-407-7087. Ranger Bucks is $225.00 for 1st,  125.00 for 2nd and $75.00 for 3rd.

District 3 Tournament April 19, 2015

District 3 – 4/19/15 – Potomac River

Come out the Sunday after Mr Bass and fish the first District 3 tournament of 2015!

Gate opens at 5:00 am and we will launch after everyone is ready to go and we have a morning meeting. Plan on fishing 8 hours.
Lunker will be collected the morning of tournament and we will have a 50/50 drawing.

District 3 welcomes every PA TBF angler to fish and we offer a Angler and Co angler of the year award. Anyone can win these awards, not just District 3 members. We usually have some good prizes and offer a great payback to our competitors!

Application cut-off is Monday 4/13/15. No exceptions!
