TBF DREAM TEAM RALLY SET FOR OHIO RIVER – NEW CUMBERLAND POOL, OCT. 14

Ponca City, Okla. (July 30, 2012) — The Bass Federation’s brand new Dream Team Rally tournament trail is excited to announce the Ohio Valley Bass Anglers are scheduled to host its first TBF Dream Team Rally event, Ohio’s second event scheduled this year.  The event is scheduled for October 14, 2012 on the Ohio River, New Cumberland Pool near Newell, WV.  The Ohio Valley Bass Anglers Dream Team event is open to ALL TBF members, and non-TBF members wanting to join. Interested teams can go online at bassfederation.com; Dream Team; to enter, the tourney # is 1034.  ALL interested TBF clubs and state federations can go online and register to host their own event today!

“The Ohio Valley Bass Anglers Club is excited to be hosting a TBF sanctioned Dream Team event. This time of year should be a great time to expect a good bite and great catches. We are inviting any anglers who are competing in the Ohio Dream Team Event on October 13th, as well as the ones from the West Virginia Dream Team event on August 18th to come out and try at another shot to qualify for the Dream Team National Championship,” Ohio Bass Federation Dream Team Event Coordinator, Tony Holzer said.  “Anglers of all ages and skill levels are welcome.  Each boat fishes as a team for the same prize, a coveted spot in the 2013 TBF Dream Team National Championship.”

“Think about it, if there are only 30 teams nationwide invited to the 2013 TBF Dream Team National Championship Rally, those 30 teams not only get to attend a dream “vacation” event but also get to compete for a new Ranger boat plus a national pile of cash and other prizes!”  TBF President, Robert Cartlidge, said.  “A minimum of 70% is paid back to the local event and 30% goes to the championship. The odds don’t get much better than that! The more Dream Team events held the bigger the championship payout.”

TBF Dream Team Rallies are designed to fill a void not only in the federation but also the fishing industry.  Fish no-hassle events close to home; fish with who you want, when you want, where you want.  All Dream Team Rally event payouts and advancements are based on number of boats.  Roughly 20% of entries will be paid onsite, plus two big fish awards.  It only takes 10 teams minimum to host a Dream Team event. The more teams entered, the more teams advance.  Every first place team (based on # of boats possibly 1st-5th) is invited to attend the TBF Dream Team National Championship. Every first place team (based on # of boats possibly 1st-3rd) will receive a “qualifying team” travel award stipend upon arrival at the championship to help offset the cost of mileage, lodging and boat gas.  The national champion team will go home with a Ranger Boat dream rig!  Register to host an event anytime, anywhere in the US or Canada, sign up to compete or do both!  There’s no limit on how many you can host or fish; so get started now!
