Fellow Anglers............

Hard to believe we are almost at mid-January and soon enough we will begin our 2018 tournament season.

Mr. Bass Kick Off classic is the LAST event to qualify for the 2018 PA Bass State Championship so you may begin sending in your tournament applications (and entry fee) beginning today!

This year's event will be held on the Susquehanna Flats on Friday, May 18th and Saturday, May 19th and we will launch from Elk Neck State Park in Maryland. The application cut-off date will be is Saturday, May 12th (application received - not postmarked). Here are the applications received today and tournament information:

Here are some preliminary details for the event and important boating information:

DATES: Friday, May 18, 2018 & Saturday, May 19, 2018
LOCATION: Susquehanna Flats, MD
LAUNCH: Elk Neck State Park

DAY ONE TIME: Safe Light to 2:30pm
DAY TWO TIME: Safe Light to 2:30pm
LIMITS: 5 fish limit / minimum of 15"
ENTRY FEE: $150 for both angler and co-angler
LUNKER FEE: $20 ($10 per day)

Official Practice Begins: Monday, May 14, 2018*
Official Practice Ends: Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 4:00pm ET*

Official Tournament Meeting: There will be a mandatory meeting on Thursday, May 17th with check-in beginning at 6:00pm (meeting will start at 6:30pm sharp)

*During official practice, all tournament rules (life jacket usage etc.) will be enforced. Any reported or observed infractions may lead to a disqualification of the angler / co-angler. All competitors must be off the tournament waters by 4:00PM Friday and may not enter the tournament waters outside the tournament times unless they get approval from the TD to test repaired equipment.

**Any culling system utilized must reduces fish handling stress and injury (e.g., clips and color coding). Devices that use or require punching / piercing a hole in the fish’s mouth are NOT permitted. Fish should not be lifted from a livewell by culling tubes, ropes, etc., in an attempt to reduce stress.
